Dzisiaj zapraszam na przegląd dźwigów samojezdnych. Przy okazji będzie to też podróż przez historię Lego, bo prezentowane dzisiaj zestawy były wydawane na przestrzeni aż 44 lat, od 1978 do 2022 roku. Bez zbędnego przedłużania przechodzę więc do prezentacji poszczególnych zestawów.
670 Mobile Crane
Zaczynamy od najstarszego dźwigu, wydanego w 1978 r. zestawu 670 Mobile Crane. Składa się on z 46 elementów i jednej minifigurki. Przy czym operator dźwigu może co najwyżej stanąć obok niego, bo w tym czasie jeszcze nie wszystkie pojazdy Lego miały miejsca dla minifigurek.
Operator to typowa figurka budowlańca z nakładaną przez głowę kamizelką. Wzór na kamizelce to naklejka, w tym czasie na torsach nie było jeszcze nadruków.
Sam dźwig jest dosyć prosty, ale ma ruchome ramię, obracającą się kabinę operatora linę nawijaną na szpulę. Przednie światła są jeszcze nadrukowane (płytki 1x1 w kolorze trans-yellow pojawią się dopiero trzy lata później), ale już kogut na dachu jest "prawdziwy". Dźwig jeździ na "bieżnikowanych" oponach, które zadebiutowały w tym roku, wcześniej wszystkie opony były gładkie.
6361 Mobile Crane
Kolejny zestaw to rok 1986. Ten dźwig składa się ze 152 części i także ma jedną minifigurkę. Tym razem może ona już wsiąść do kabiny, lub stanąć za nią, bo tam znajdują się dźwignie do sterowania dźwigiem. Pojazd to klasyczna, kanciasta, konstrukcja szeroka na 4 study, w kolorze żółtym z czarnymi akcentami. Wizualnie prezentuje się naprawdę świetnie. Ma jednak jeden spory mankament - podpory nie chowają się w pełni, trzeba je odczepić, a na pojeździe nie przewidziano miejsce do ich złożeni, można je ewentualnie położyć luzem za kabiną. Trochę szkoda, bo ogólnie cały zestaw jest solidny i funkcjonalny.
Ciekawym elementem zestawu 6361 jest metalowy hak (nr katalogowy x99), który debiutuje w tym roku i pojawia się tylko w 10 zestawach.
Warto jeszcze wspomnieć o pudełku, na którego odwrocie znajdziemy kilka modeli alternatywnych, które w tym zestawie są naprawdę ciekawe. W zasadzie spokojnie mogły by być sprzedawane jako pełnoprawne zestawy Lego.
1489 Mobile Car Crane
Kolejny dźwig został wydany w 1989 r. tylko na rynek północnoamerykański. Przez to jest do stosunkowo rzadko spotykany zestaw (na brickset tylko 355 osób posiada go w kolekcji). Składa się ze 157 elementów i 2 minifigurek - operatora dźwigu i właścicielki uszkodzonego samochodu.
Podobnie jak poprzednik, 1489 Mobile Car Crane to konstrukcja czterostudowa, ma jednak poszerzenia w w postaci zderzaków i świateł, a poza obrys pojazdu wychodzą też duże koła. Całość utrzymana jest w niebiesko-żółtej kolorystyce. Wspomniane wcześniej duże koła robią dobrą robotę, dzięki nim pojazd wydaje się lepiej zeskalowany z minifigurkami niż poprzednik, a ich szersze rozstawienie sprawia, że jest bardziej stabilny przy przenoszeniu ładunku. Tak jak w starszym zestawie podpory nie chowają się w pełni i trzeba je zdjąć, ale tym razem pomyślano o miejscu gdzie można je wpiąć, dzięki czemu nie spadają podczas przemieszczania dźwigu. Ponownie spotykamy tu hak x99, który można zaczepić o specjalny zaczep z przodu pojadu, dzięki czemu nie buja się w czasie jazdy.
Trzeba jeszcze wspomnieć o ładunku jaki możemy przenosić - to bardzo prost, niewielki samochód miejski. Mimo niezbyt imponujących rozmiarów ma otwierane drzwi i pełne oświetlenie.
60324 Mobile Crane
Czas na duży skok w przyszłość, o ile poprzednie zestawy wychodziły co kilka lat, to ten jest o 33 lata młodszy, trafiamy więc w zupełnie inną rzeczywistość w świecie Lego. 60324 Mobile Crane wydany w 2022 r. składa się z 332 elementów i zawiera 2 minifigurki.
W porównaniu to wcześniej opisanych prostych modeli, pod względem konstrukcyjnym ten zestaw to zupełnie inny świat. Jest po prostu dużo większy, dwukrotnie szerszy, dzięki czemu w kabinie mieszczą się dwie osoby obsługi, znalazło się też miejsce na w pełni funkcjonalną kabinę do obsługi samego dźwigu. Podnoszenie i opuszczanie ramienia dźwigu odbywa się płynnie za pomocą pokrętła, podobnym pokrętłem zwija i rozwija się linę. Żeby nie było idealnie, to brakuje tu prowadnic do liny, przez co przesuwa się ona na bok ramienia dźwigu, co wygląda niespecjalnie ciekawie. Podpory tym razem chowają się w podwoziu, więc nie ma z nimi problemu. Ogólnie zestaw wygląda bardzo realistycznie i proporcjonalnie. Jest to jeden z lepszych zestawów z serii City wydanych w ostatnich latach.
Na koniec wspomnę jeszcze o figurkach. Mamy tutaj dwójkę operatorów, kobietę i mężczyznę, co wpisuje się w aktualną strategię Lego opartą na promowaniu równouprawnienia. Ok, w 1489 też była kobieta, ale tam pani była właścicielką uszkodzonego pojazdu, czyli postacią drugoplanową. Aktualnie chyba w większości wydawanych zestawów City "siły" obu płci są wyrównane.

Today, I invite you to a review of self-propelled cranes. In the process, we will also take a journey through the history of Lego, as the sets presented today were released over a span of 44 years, from 1978 to 2022. Without further ado, let's proceed to the presentation of each set.
670 Mobile Crane
We begin with the oldest crane, the 670 Mobile Crane, released in 1978. It consists of 46 pieces and one minifigure. However, during that time, the crane operator could only stand next to it since not all Lego vehicles had designated spaces for minifigures yet.
The operator is a typical construction worker minifigure wearing a sticker-decorated vest, as torso prints were not yet introduced at that time.
The crane itself is relatively simple but features a movable arm, a rotating operator's cabin, and a winch for the hoisting cable. The front lights are still printed (trans-yellow 1x1 plates would only appear three years later), but the rooster emblem on the roof is a physical element. The crane runs on "treaded" tires, which made their debut that year, as all previous tires were smooth.
6361 Mobile Crane
The next set is from 1986. This crane consists of 152 parts and also includes one minifigure. This time, the minifigure can either sit in the cabin or stand behind it, as there are control levers located there. The vehicle has a classic, boxy design, four studs wide, in yellow color with black accents. Visually, it looks really impressive. However, it has one notable drawback - the supports do not fully retract; they need to be detached, and there is no designated storage space for them on the vehicle. They can be placed loosely behind the cabin. It's a bit of a shame because overall, the entire set is solid and functional.
An interesting element in the 6361 set is the metal hook (part number x99), which debuted that year and appeared in only 10 sets.
It is worth mentioning the box, which features several alternative models on the back. These models are genuinely intriguing and could easily be sold as full-fledged Lego sets.
1489 Mobile Car Crane
The next crane was released in 1989, exclusively for the North American market. As a result, this set is relatively rare (only 355 collectors on Brickset possess it). It consists of 157 pieces and includes 2 minifigures - the crane operator and the owner of a damaged car.
Similar to its predecessor, the 1489 Mobile Car Crane is a four-stud-wide design. However, it features wider bumpers, lights, and large wheels extending beyond the vehicle's outline. The overall color scheme is blue and yellow. The aforementioned large wheels do a great job, making the vehicle appear better scaled with the minifigures compared to the previous model. Their wider spacing also enhances stability when carrying loads. Like in the older set, the supports do not fully retract and need to be removed. However, this time, there is a designated attachment point for them, so they do not fall off during crane movement. Once again, the x99 hook is present, and it can be attached to a special hitch at the front of the vehicle, preventing it from swinging during transport.
We should also mention the cargo that can be transported - a very simple, small city car. Despite its modest size, it has opening doors and full lighting.
60324 Mobile Crane
Now, let's jump significantly into the future. While previous sets were released every few years, this one is 33 years younger, which brings us to an entirely different reality in the Lego world. The 60324 Mobile Crane was released in 2022 and consists of 332 pieces, including 2 minifigures.
In terms of design, this set is a whole new world compared to the previously described simple models. It is simply much larger, twice as wide, allowing for a cabin that accommodates two operators and a fully functional control cabin for the crane itself. Raising and lowering the crane arm is done smoothly using a dial, and a similar dial is used to wind and unwind the cable. However, one imperfection is the absence of cable guides, causing the cable to shift to the side of the crane arm, which doesn't look particularly appealing. This time, the supports retract into the chassis, so there are no issues with them. Overall, the set looks very realistic and proportional. It is one of the best sets from the City series released in recent years.
Finally, let's mention the minifigures. We have two operators, a female and a male, which aligns with Lego's current strategy of promoting gender equality. Okay, in set 1489, there was also a woman, but she was the owner of the damaged vehicle, which made her a secondary character. Currently, in most City sets, both genders are equally represented.
